Welcome. You’re in the right place.

We are Gold Coast based deck builders specialising in premium composite decking solutions engineered specifically for Queensland’s climate. Our decks are designed for durability and long term performance not generic, imported systems that deteriorate after only a few seasons.

Why Composite Decking is So Popular on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast climate is beautiful… but brutal on timber.

Salt air. Humidity. UV. Heavy rain. Termites.

That’s why more homeowners across Burleigh, Robina, Coomera, Helensvale, Palm Beach and up through Hope Island are choosing low-maintenance composite decking.

Benefits of Composite Decking:

✔ No oiling or sanding
✔ No splinters
✔ Termite resistant
✔ Fade and stain resistant
✔ Designed for Australian sun
✔ Long manufacturer warranties

It gives you the natural timber look without the ongoing maintenance bill.

And honestly — most of our clients say the biggest benefit is getting their weekends back.

Built by the Team at Altar Decks

We’re not a national franchise.

We’re a Gold Coast decking company building decks from Coomera to Twed Coast.

We understand:

• Coastal wind loading requirements
• Gold Coast Council regulations
• Proper subframe construction
• Drainage considerations
• Pool compliance requirements

That matters.

Because a composite deck is only as good as the structure underneath it.

We build it properly the first time.

Is Composite Better Than Timber?

We get asked this every week.

Short answer?
It depends on what you want.

If you love the ritual of sanding and oiling hardwood every year — timber may suit you.

If you’d rather install it once and relax — composite is hard to beat.

Many of our Gold Coast clients choose composite because:

• They live near the water
• They own investment properties
• They’re renovating to add value
• They’re done maintaining hardwood

We’re always honest about pros and cons. No pressure. Just real advice.

Designed for Gold Coast Homes

Composite decking works beautifully for:

• Pool surrounds
• Elevated decks
• Waterfront properties
• Entertaining areas
• Renovation upgrades
• New builds

We supply and install premium composite brands suited to Australian conditions — properly installed, properly spaced, properly ventilated.

No shortcuts.
